How Can You Help?

1.  You can make a cash donation directly through the link on this page or you can contact me for my mailing address and send it through the mail system.

2.  Playing your musical instrument in a public area (see download below) and soliciting donations. Last year I earned over 140.00 in donations by playing at neighborhood Starbucks on a Saturday and Sunday morning. They let me play inside and gave me free coffee! Ask for permission ahead of time. They love the free entertainment that you will provide for their customers.

* If you want to play in public please download the 2009-2010 Participation Packet.

3.  Donate an old saxophone. If the saxophone is suitable we will get it into the hands of a deserving student. If it is not a good student saxophone we will sell it and use the funds to purchase a more suitable model.

4.  Are you a technician? Donate some repair time and we will gladly advertise your efforts here and I will give you a public thank you on the Sax On The Web Forum.

The Spirit of Nomination : The goal of Sax-O-Thon is to provide a musical instrument to a student who shows musical promise and whose family would be hard pressed to   provide a quality saxophone for  their child. It is impossible for us to verify the needs and talent of nominated individuals so we are asking our members to be extra careful with   their considerations as to who to they nominate.
